Renassiance Fair in Hunterdon County

The NJ Renaissance Kingdom festival takes place at the Clinton area Red mill Museum Village during the month of June. June 19-June 27th, (Saturdays/Sundays). Head on over to Clinton and see what it’s all about. Check them out between 11:30 though 7pm - or check out NJKingdom.com for more info.

Antique Show and Appraisal

If you’ve wanted to know the value of a cherished antique in the family, you’ll want to know about this. On June 19th, over at the Shoppes of Flemington (in the parking lot) there will be an appraiser, and for $5 - you can get your antique appraised. Maybe it’s WAY more valuable than you thought, or maybe it’s not quite as rare as you had anticipated. There’s only one way to find out…get it appraised!

NJ Strawberries

Love NJ strawberries? Today is the day to head to Pittstown. They are having a Strawberry Day and Pig Roast at Peaceful Valley Orchards. Get out there and pick some strawberries (June 5th) , enjoy carriage rides and more, and get ready to chow down. There will even be some short classes held on rain barrels and deer and gardening. You’ll find Peaceful Valley Orchards at 150 Pittstown Rd - not quite 2 miles past the Clinton Walmart.

Bark in the Park - Flemington

On June 6th you’ll want to head to the Flemington Boro Park which is over by the courthouse in Flemington. There is a dog walk that starts at 11. It’s a close to 2 mile walk around the area, (register at 10am) - and after the walk you can enjoy contests, food and more. The money that’s raised benefits both the Flemington Rotary Charities along with Animal Alliance.

Kids Carnival in Lebanon

Will you be in the Lebanon area on June 5th? Make sure to stop by with a donation for the food bank (admission) and enjoy the afternoon with the kids between 3-7pm. There will be all sorts of fun and good eats. It takes place at the Lebanon Reformed Church which is in Lebanon off of Maple and Brunswick Avenues.

Fireworks Tonight

Alexandria Township is having their Community Day today (June 5th), and you can catch a fireworks display at 9:30 tonight. Head on over to the township park after 4pm and enjoy a day of crafts, contests and other fun for the family. The park is located off of 519 and 631.

Annandale Fair at Church

The annual festival in Annandale takes place at the Immaculate Conception church on Old Allerton Rd. It’s that time of year again! You can buy advanced tickets for rides. Call them for details and information. This is a popular event in the Annandale area, and one that everyone looks forward too. Whether you call it a carnival, festival or fair - you’ll have a good time.

The ICC Parish Festival takes place from June 16-20th. Mark your calendars!

Pig Roast in Hunterdon County

There’s a pig roast on June 13th at the Landslide Saloon. I grew up going to pig roasts that a family friend used to do, so this brought back a smile thinking of summer. If you’d like to attend, the Pig Roast and Family Fun Day takes place from 1-7pm on June 13th.

There is an admission fee - adults $25, Kids - reduced rates/$10, and under age 7 is free. The Landslide is located on RT 173. Look for the big ole buffalo/bison out front! Yeah, you know the one…

Music Festival and More

On June 6th from Noon to 5pm there’s a Country Festival at Fairmont Presbyterian Church. This is a great way to enjoy family time together - as there is no admission fee, and free parking. There will be live music, face painting, games, crafters, pony rides and much more. Music will include country and rock classics, along with jazz, bluegrass and more. The event takes place just above the intersection of Rt 517 and Rt 512.
